Did anyone hear that Miley Cyrus will be covering Livin' On A Prayer?

It was mentioned at the VMA's last night. I was outraged when I heard that because I believe Bon Jovi is truly one of the greatest bands of the ages and allowing Miley Cyrus to sing that song is, in my opinion, musical suicide. Anyway, I want to know if anyone knows when/where is she singing it? I'd like to hear her rendition of it.
