Does anyone know the story of how Chicksan swivel joints got there name?

Chicksan is a trademark name for swivel joints of pipe & elbows commonly used in oil field & industrial applications. Apparently there is quite a story to the naming of this product, do you know the history of the name chicksan ? if so plse tell me. Thanks for your help in advance & Merry Xmas.
